fights are over! (and the traffic light theory)

well howdy folks! (still just you anton... why dont people follow me? WHY!!!... meh)

well, tis offical, the fight with my pally is over. i'm not exactly sure what happened, but it turned out that she was ignoring me coz i thought she was ignoring her! HA!

this just goes to prove how weird teenage girls are. men, dont bother trying to understand us, your brain simply cant take it.

anywayz, now that thats out of the way, i'd like to discuss something very serious. almost everyone will come acorss both of these things at least once in there lifetime.

Taxis and Trafficlights

now, you might say, Amie! you mad woman! what could taxis and trafficlights have in common?

well, i'll tell you.


Taxi drives control the traffic lights.

shocking i know, but its true.

let me prove this to you.


i was in the city recently and i was in a taxi with my family. we were at a set of traffic lights and i noticed something. there was a little box with a little button in the front by the driver. it didnt look terribly important, but i noticed that every once in a while, he pressed it. i shoudl explain somthing. we were at the front, if that makes sense.. meaning we were direcly next to the traffic light, on that little white line that tells you where to stop when your at the front. anyway, the taxi driver pressed this innocent looking button and i notice the traffic to the left of us start to move. i didnt think anything of it, until i saw him press the button again. the traffic to our right began to move. obviously more then just coincidence. then, the little button made a noise and the taxi driver became noticbley irritated, just as our light turned green. now, its my theory that the little button and the white line are connected. when the taxi driver at the front presses the button, another set of lights will change. i think that taxi drivers use this to set off everyone's traffic lights but their own, increasing their price (the meter still goes up while your stationary.. very stupid) and other taxi drivers will try to screw them over by setting off other peoples lights.
